What we do:

BSQ is the only authentic organisation for Bengalis in Queensland, which has been in existence for more than 25 years and aims at keeping the Bengali and the Indian culture alive through various cultural, social and charitable events. We are open to all within the wider Australian community who wishes to take part, celebrate, learn about the Bengali and the Indian culture.

We are based in Brisbane and operate as a non-profit organisation.

Our objectives:

Giving back to the community: We aim to contribute to the community in various ways. We organise various fund raising and charitable events for those in the community who need support.

Provide platform for young people: We provide a platform for young and budding talents in the community to display and demonstrate their talent in a safe and supporting environment.

Keeping the Bengali culture alive: Bengal has a very rich cultural heritage - we try to keep this cultural heritage alive within ourselves and among the young generation through various cultural events. We endeavour to include every member, veteran, experienced and inexperienced on our journey; and also encourage all within the community to come forward and be part of it.
