We are excited to announce the first ever “বঙ্গ সম্মেলনে” (Bongo Sommeylan), in Brisbane this year. In the tradition of Bengal, BSQ is proud to host a day immersed in Bengali music, literature, art, food and more at Coorparoo Secondary College on 17th September 2023.

“Bongo Sommeylan” means bringing Bengal under one roof. A confluence of Bengali language-art-literature in all forms and dimensions to the wider world where we would like to mingle and share the probashi Bengali’s passion. BSQ will be pooling every resource to the event and will endeavour that the legacy will be carried ahead.

We will take the opportunity to invite you along with your family and friends to come and enjoy this first ever Bongo Sommeylan.  Your presence will make this event a grand success.
